Moldovan Supreme Court of Justice has new acting president

Chisinau, 25 August /MOLDPRES/ - The Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) today ruled that magistrate Viorica Puica would exercise the office of acting president of the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ).
Viorica Puica will start holding the new position as of 26 August. The office of CSJ acting president remained vacant, after judge Tamara Chisca-Doneva had written an application on resignation, partially accepted by the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM).
Viorica Puica taught the discipline of civil procedural law at the Law Faculty of the Moldovan State University during 11 years. In 2007, CSM nominated Viorica Puica as the best judge of Moldova.
