Chisinau, 27 August /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean has conveyed a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Republic of Moldova’s Independence Day, the government’s communication and protocol department reported.
The message means:
„Dear people,
Today we look with gratitude at the way we have covered together, as nation. Our Independence does not boil down only to the past events; it is reflected in each diligent man, in each effort made, in order to edify a stronger and more developed Moldova.
We celebrate Moldova through our people – people who contribute to the country’s development with self-denial. I am proud to see how the community spirit and the courage of each of us are reflected in our success – big or small. Today, when we look into the eyes of each one, we see a nation full of hope, of determination to overcome obstacles and to edify, bit by bit, a flourishing Moldova.
Each Moldovan who wants to make a difference, each entrepreneur who invests his/her resources and creativity in developing business, each artist who shares our cultural beauty with the world – you are the one who edify our future. Through your work, you create a Moldova which is recognized in the entire world: with its great heart, with its boundless potential.
We celebrate the Independence today. It means for us to control and govern our own destiny, to take sovereign political and economic decisions, in the interests of our prosperity.
The Independence means freedom to edify our own future. Today, at 32 years of Independence, we regard the future with confidence, knowing that each step we make brings Moldova closer to our dream: a developed European country, with prosperous citizens.
Congratulations, Republic of Moldova! Together, we edify a European country of which we should be proud.’’
