Moldovan president speaks about Moldova's European future at Bled Strategic Forum

Chisinau, 29 August /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today participated in the Bled Strategic Forum, Slovenia. At the event, she had more meetings with counterparts, ministers and representatives of international organizations, the presidential press service has reported.
At the forum, President of Slovenia, the host of the event, Nataša Pirc Musar awarded Maia Sandu the prize, Bled Strategic Forum Distinguished Partner. According to the organizers, the distinction is a recognition of the courage and qualities of leader, proved by Maia Sandu on Moldova’s European integration way.
On the sidelines of the forum, the head of state had a string of discussions and meetings, among which with President of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar, President of Greece Katerina Sakellaropoulou, Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Helga Maria Schmid, Canada’s Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly and Secretary of State for European Affairs Laurence Boone.
During the dialogue with the partners, Maia Sandu said that Moldova advanced in the carrying out of more ambitious reforms, which are to speed up the process of Moldova’s accession to the European Union.
