Sewage treatment plant in Călărași to expand capacity

Chisinau, 11 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Regional Development Agency (ADR) Centru announced today that by the summer of 2024, the regional project to improve the standard of living in the localities of Călăraşi and Străşeni districts will be completed, by ensuring the population's access to the centralized sewage systems.

The project, implemented by ADR Centru and financially supported by the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL), aims to improve access to the sewage system for over 4,500 residents of Călărași and Nișcani.

Under the same project, the construction works of the sewage network on three important streets in the city of Călărași were received in August. At this stage, about 60 households have free access to connect and use the centralized sewage disposal service.
