Ten candidates for Chisinau mayor registered

Chisinau, 28 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Ten candidates for Chisinau mayor were registered.

According to the Central Electoral Commission, it is about: Lilian Carp - Action and Solidarity Party, Constantin Butucel - Home Building Europe "PACE" Party, Ruslan Codreanu - Ruslan Codreanu Electoral Bloc, Diana Caraman - Communist Party of the Republic of Moldova, Vasile Costiuc - Democracy at Home Political Party, Vadim Brînzaniuc - European Social Democratic Party, Ion Ștefăniță - Respect Moldova Movement Political Party, Adrian Albu - Socialist Party, Anatol Usatîi - Moldovan Development and Consolidation Party and Ion Bulgac - Coalition for Unity and Welfare.

The head of the Electoral Council of Chisinau electoral constituency No1, Viorica Gadîmba, said that in total, 15 political parties and one electoral bloc submitted the documents for the registration of the candidate for Chisinau mayor. "From the total number of files, the electoral body is to issue a decision regarding three candidates", said Viorica Gadîmba.

The last day for the registration of the candidate is October 6.

The general local elections will be held on November 5.
