Chisinau, 29 September /MOLDPRES/ - The current week has been characterized by a decrease in the prices for fuels. Thus, the COR 95 petrol cheapened by 0.52 lei per one litre and the standard diesel – by 0.18 lei per one litre. The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) unveiled data to this effect today.
ANRE noted that the cheapenings were recorded despite the pessimistic forecasts amid the diminution of the production of crude oil by Saudi Arabia and Russia, as well as Moscow’s ban on the exports of diesel and petrol.
Nevertheless, according to ANRE, international experts and traders are ever more concerned about the evolution of the price for diesel, the production of which does not keep pace with the seasonal increase in the demand. At the last exchange session, the diesel got to be sold by 80 dollars per one ton more than the petrol.
ANRE established for the days to come a maximal price of 26.38 lei for one litre for the COR 95 petrol, down by 0.07 lei. At the same time, the diesel will be commercialized against 24.65 lei per one litre at the most, the price being by 0.03 lei lower.
