European Village programme: 31 projects finished in Moldova in last September

Chisinau, 2 October /MOLDPRES/ - Thirty one projects were finished within the European Village National Programme in last September. The overall value of the projects was of 101 million lei.

According to the National Office of Regional and Local Development (ONDRL), the projects provide improvements and transformations of the living conditions for about 77,000 beneficiaries.

Thus, 12 out of the projects completed regard the improvement of the water and sewerage infrastructure, six projects deal with the modernization of public illumination and another six projects contributed to the renovation of Community Centres, entertainment spaces and sports infrastructure.

At the same time, the documentation of urbanism was worked out in five settlements of Moldova and public buildings were restored in two settlements.

The European Village National Programme comprises 497 projects on local development, of which 204 have been implemented.
