Collections to national public budget managed by Moldova's State Fiscal Service increase by 16.5 per cent

Chisinau, 2 October /MOLDPRES/ - The collection of revenues to the national public budget, managed by the State Fiscal Service (SFS), amounted to 46.89 billion lei (2.34 billion euros) in January-September 2023. This is by 6.6 billion or by about 16.5 per cent lei more against the same period of the year before.
Thus, 20.3 billion lei was collected to the state budget in 2023, which is by 2.6 billion lei more against the same period of 2022, or up by 14.8 per cent.
According to SFS, revenues worth about 5.2 billion lei were recorded in the local budgets, which is by 20.2 per cent more against the same period of the year before.
Also, on the aforementioned period, 15.9 billion lei was collected to the state social insurances budget, up by 2.3 million lei or by about 17 per cent more against the same period of the previous year.
At the same time, about 5.4 billion lei was accumulated in the mandatory health insurances accounts, which is by about 18 per cent more against the same period of 2022.
