Ministry of Internal Affairs launched campaign on importance of Moldova's accession to EU Civil Protection Mechanism

Chisinau, Oct. 3 /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched a campaign to inform citizens about the importance and need of Moldova's accession to the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.

The campaign aims to inform people about the benefits for our country, as well as for each citizen with our country's accession to the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.

Thus, the first social spot was filmed in a hospital in Hâncești district, where medical staff talk about the support offered by European countries through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, for patients and medical institutions. At the same time, it is worth noting that in 2020, our country benefited from vaccines, and protection equipment in the fight against COVID-19 infection.

The agreement for our country's accession to the mechanism was signed on September 29, in Chisinau, by Minister of Internal Affairs Adrian Efros and European Commissioner for Crisis Management Janez Lenarčič.
