Chisinau, 4 October /MOLDPRES/ - The students and graduates of education institutions from Moldova can submit the file on participation in a programme of paid probations in public service, by accessing the portal www.stagii.gov.md. The process of recruiting probationers started at the Moldovan State University (USM) and the Academy of Economic Studies (ASEM), the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The state secretary at the State Chancellery, Ana Calinici, informed young people about the benefits of the programme, noting that, for the first time ever for Moldova, the state would provide the probationers with a monthly scholarship worth 3,000 lei for 160 hours of probation. The young people will be able to carry out their activity at the parliament’s secretariat, President’s Apparatus, State Chancellery, ministries and other central administrative authorities.
„We will help you know the specific character of the work in the public service and to gain experiences needed for an easier integration in labour. We also want to create a community of probationers from different series of graduates, with potential of innovating ideas. Moldova needs young people who are to remain in the country, in order to edify Europe at home,’’ Ana Calinici said.
To participate in the programme, young people will fill in a form and after the files are assessed, they will be invited to a short interview. The winners will conclude the contract of probations with the host institution and will be remunerated proportionally with the hours carried out.
After the programme’s completion, the participants will receive a certificate and the ones holding the diploma of graduated higher education and finished the full probation of 720 hours and were given the mark ‘’very good’’, can be put forward for appointment in a public executive office. In this case, to get employed, professional experience will not be necessary, no contest will be organized and a test period will not be established. The period on which the probationer participated in the probation will be taken into account at the calculation of the length of service if, after the evaluation, the probationer got the mark ‘’good’’ or ‘’very good.’’
