Teachers from Moldova bring together at National Forum of Teachers

Chisinau, 7 October /MOLDPRES/ - Hundreds of teachers from Moldova today participated in the National Forum of Teachers. The event, organized by the Presidency of Moldova, along with the Education and Research Ministry, brought together teachers, professors, support teaching staff, school managers, national and local trainers, young specialists, as well as students who will graduate from the university this year.
„My gratitude, the gratitude of all of us for the work you carry out must be materialized in concrete things. Together, we can enhance the prestige of your profession, invest in the professional development of teachers, modernize the school infrastructure and make sure that the teachers are financially motivated to choose this difficult and responsible profession,’’ President Maia Sandu said in the beginning of the event.
Following more speeches by organizers, the participants in the forum are to convene in the afternoon, in order to discuss educational innovations, opportunities and challenges, good practices in Moldova and other countries, as well as how they can be taken over and multiplied, so that each child of Moldova can develop his/her potential and gifts.
The National Forum of Teachers is organized at an initiative of President Maia Sandu by the Education and Research Ministry, with the support of the Future Technologies Activity in Moldova Project, financed by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Sweden, United Kingdom, United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Norway, Japan, in partnership with the Moldovan State University, Mediacor and Class of Future.
