175 taxpayers nominated winners of Tax Lottery contest

Chisinau, Oct. 31 /MOLDPRES/- 175 taxpayers were nominated winners of the 3rd edition 2023 of the Tax Lottery contest. They will receive one thousand lei each. The list of beneficiaries was published by the State Fiscal Service (SFS) today.

During the third (quarterly) stage of this year's contest, more than 27 million transactions took place with bank cards on July 1 - September 30, 2023. The total amount of transactions exceeded 7.8 billion lei.

According to SFS, at this stage of the contest, the number of transactions made with bank cards increased by 26.83% compared to the similar stage in 2022. The total amount of participating transactions is increasing by 25.86% compared to the same indicator in 2022.

The Tax Lottery contest was initiated in 2020. The draws for the winning transactions are carried out based on the information presented by the issuing licensed commercial banks from the Republic of Moldova, randomly, automatically, through the Random.org platform.
