Voter Information Center recorded about 1,000 calls from citizens

Chisinau, Oct. 31 /MOLDPRES/- On September 19 - October 27, the Voter Information Center registered around 1,000 calls from citizens.
According to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), since October 5 there has been an increase in calls from citizens, and the main questions are: how can they check which polling station they are assigned to, how can they check in the electoral lists, the documents based on which can vote, details about voting at the location and information about voting according to home registration and valid residence.
Citizens with voting rights can request information about the organization of the general local elections of 5 November at the Call Center, by phone number (+373) 22 880101. Thus, voters can find out information about the voting pricedure, the documents on the basis of which they can vote, information on domicile or residence in an administrative-territorial unit etc.
The information line of the Call Center will operate from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and on 5-7 and 19-21 November, the working hours will be extended to 24 hours a day.
