Chisinau, Nov. 2 /MOLDPRES/- Former Prosecutor General Alexandr Stoianoglo challenged in court the decree signed by President Maia Sandu, by which he was released from office.
The request was submitted to the Chisinau Court, but so far the date of a possible meeting has not been set.
Alexandr Stoianoglo was suspended from the position of Prosecutor General in October 2021. ECHR has recently published a decision in which it found in the case of the suspension of the former Prosecutor General "violation of the right of access to the court - the impossibility of the Prosecutor General to challenge his suspension, determined by the criminal proceedings initiated against him".
