Ruslan Codreanu: I voted for Chisinau in which city hall is together with people

Chisinau, Nov. 5 /MOLDPRES/- Ruslan Codreanu Electoral Bloc candidate for Chisinau mayor Ruslan Codreanu said he voted for Chisinau in which city hall is together with the people.

Ruslan Codreanu came to the polling station accompanied by his daughter. "I voted for Chisinau, for people, for Chisinau where people are more educated, healthier and wealthier. I voted for Chisinau where the city hall is together with the people, a transparent city hall that develops, builds, because the power of Chisinau is the people", he said.

He said that regardless of the results, he will continue to work for Chisinau and citizens.

Citizens eligible to vote in Moldova today elect mayors and councilors at the general local elections. The polling stations were opened at 07:00. The voting procedure will end at 21.00. 2,758,810 voters are expected at the polls. According to CEC data, by 11:00 a.m., more than 380,000 citizens had cast their vote, which is more than 13 percent of voters.
