Exhibition dedicated to Poland's Independence Day inaugurated at Chisinau-based museum

Chisinau, 10 November /MOLDPRES/ - An exhibition titled, Polish Traces in Chisinau, has been inaugurated at the Museum of History of the Chisinau City. The tourist route with the same name, elaborated by the tourism development section of the municipal department for economy, commerce and tourism, was launched at the same museum.
The event was dedicated to Poland’s Independence Day – national holiday annually marked on 11 November.
Attending the event, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Poland Tomasz Kobzdej highly appreciated the cooperation relations between the two countries.
A round table with the participation of more historians, guides, culture people, organized in cooperation with the National History Museum of Moldova, was held at the Museum of History of the Chisinau City. The event is dedicated to pages from the history of the Polish communities and the relations between the two nations since the medieval period till the contemporary cultural and diplomatic ties.
Poland’s Independence Day – Narodowe Święto Niepodległości – is annually celebrated on 11 November, in order to commemorate the independence of Poland, regained in 1918.
