Moldovan General Police inspectorate says policemen document 19 drivers driving drunk in last week-end

Chisinau, 13 November /MOLDPRES/ - Policemen documented 19 drivers driving drunk in the last week-end.

According to the General Police Inspectorate (IGP), 680 drivers were documented for exceeding the speed limit and 476 - for non-observance of road signs.

At the same time, 253 drivers stopped their vehicles in forbidden places and 27 ones failed to give priority to pedestrians or cyclists.

In the last week-end, patrol agents intervened in 148 cases, following calls made at the 112 Single Service.
