PHOTO USMF "Nicolae Testemițanu" became armwrestling champion among Moldovan universities

Chisinau, Nov. 14 /MOLDPRES/- State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) "Nicolae Testemițanu" became armwrestling champion among higher education institutions of Moldova in 2023.

The University Sports Complex hosted the fourth edition of the National Armwrestling Championship, held under the auspices of the Moldovan Student and Veterans Sports Federation, in partnership with the Armwrestling Sports Federation of Moldova.

81 athletes, representing nine universities of the country lined up at the start. USMF club's team was represented by 16 athletes. Team captain and coach Nicoleta Bodrug, multiple national champion and holder of the title of master of sports in armwrestling, as well as at the international level was proud of the team.

In the team ranking, "Taras Şevcenko" University of Tiraspol ranked second, and the Technical University of Moldova ranked third.
