Moldova, Albania to boost bilateral cooperation

Chisinau, 17 November /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean has received Interior Minister of Albania Taulant Balla, on a working visit to Chisinau, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The officials welcomed the signing of the agreement on police cooperation between the two states and expressed willingness to advance in the promotion of the bilateral agreements also in the social protection sector, as well as on recognition and conversion of driver’s licences. The sides also spoke out for the boosting of the cooperation in the economic, commercial and tourism sectors.
„Both Moldova and Albania have a potential of development of the social and economic relations, with the launch of the process of accession to the European Union. The 15th bilateral agreement between our countries was concluded today, which reconfirms the development of the relations and the resoluteness to advance the cooperation in fields of common interest,’’ PM Dorin Recean said.
Interior Minister of Albania Taulant Balla congratulated Moldova’s authorities on the progress made in the implementation of the European agenda and announced his willingness to share Albania’s experience in the process of accession to the European Union in the interior affairs sector.
