National Police marks International Day for Elimination of Violence through information actions

Chisinau, Nov. 25 /MOLDPRES/- International Day for elimination of violence against women and girls is marked on 25 November. National Police records the event through information and awareness-raising actions carried out by police officers throughout the country.

Along with the policemen, representatives of various state institutions and non-governmental organizations, volunteers and students join the event.

The activities aim to support the global awareness campaign "16 days of activism against violence against women and girls", as well as raise awareness of this phenomenon.

The General Police Inspectorate has set up a specialized subdivision to protect victims of violence. "It's about the Family Justice Center. Thus, we work 24/7 to ensure the safety of women and girls affected by violence.
