Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration meets UK Ambassador to Moldova

Chisinau, Nov. 28 /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian had a meeting with new ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Moldova E.S. Fern Horine on Monday, the Reintegration Policy Office has reported.

The dialogue focused on Chisinau's priorities in the Transnistrian settlement, as well as the developments in the negotiation process. Serebrian reiterated that the country's reintegration is a priority for the current government.

The European integration process, as well as the Ukrainian army's resistance to Russian aggression, created favorable conditions for finding solutions to a comprehensive settlement of the problem.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the support provided by Great Britain at the political level, in development processes and through assistance projects aimed at supporting settling the Transnistrian case.

The officials expressed full openness to continuing cooperation and expanding it in areas of mutual interest.
