Moldovan, Danish officials approach current issues

Chisinau, Nov. 30 /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu had a meeting with several Danish parliamentarians, members of the Foreign Policy Commission of the Kingdom of Denmark's legislature on Wednesday, the presidential press service has reported.

The officials addressed bilateral relations, Moldova's modernization process and accession to the European Union. They also approached our country's countermeasures against hybrid attacks and Moldova's contribution to regional security.

Maia Sandu welcomed the Danish partners' decision to open an embassy in Chisinau next year, an important step for deepening bilateral cooperation, developing trade and attracting investments. The head of state thanked them for the support that the Danish partners offer to Moldova and Ukraine and conveyed that we continue to rely on the support of the Kingdom of Denmark in the start of the EU accession negotiations.
