Moldovan government to allocate over 136 million lei for European Village Programme, cover monthly increase of 1,300 lei for local public authorities' employees

Chisinau, 15 December /MOLDPRES/ - The government will partially cover the expenses borne by the local public administration for the payment of the monthly increase worth 1,300 lei for the local public administrations’ employees. The cabinet is also to earmark additional financial means for the European Village Programme. The cabinet of ministers approved a decision to this effect, the government’s communication department has reported.

Thus, 114 million lei from the reserve and intervention fund will be used for the national fund for regional development, in order to cover the financial commitments taken within the local infrastructure projects started through the European Village Programme.

Another 22.3 million lei will be distributed from the state budget to the local budgets of more administrative and territorial units of the first and second levels, in order to cover the expenses for the payment of the monthly increase of 1,300 lei.
