Moldovan citizens registered in MNotify to be notified about expiry of identity documents

Chisinau, 15 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan citizens, who have an electronic signature and are registered with the electronic notification service MNotify (mnotify.gov.md), as of today will receive prior notifications on expiry of passport and identity card, the Agency Public Services (ASP) has reported.
Citizens will be notified 60 and 30 days before the expiry of documents. The MNotify service is provided free of charge.
Notifications can be received via email, the citizen's government portal, short messages (SMS) or instant messages on Facebook Messenger, Viber, Telegram, Skype and What's up, depending on what the citizen has set in personal profile in MNotify. At the same time, the notifications will be sent and can be viewed, including, in the Personal Cabinet (mcabinet.gov.md).
"We encourage the citizens of the Republic of Moldova to perfect their electronic signatures. Currently, the electronic signature can be obtained at the Information Technology and Cyber Security Service and at mobile phone operators," ASP said.
MNotify is the government's electronic notification service that allows public service providers to send notifications to users in order to notify them of events related to the provision of services or other relevant events.
