Subdivisions of Moldova's Border Police endowed with 30 new vehicles

Chisinau, 30 January /MOLDPRES/ - Thirty task vehicles today were delivered to the tactical subdivisions of the Border Police.  

According to the Border Police, the cars are endowed with advanced technologies of communication and specialized equipment. 

„The mobility is an important factor in the interventions at the border and the automobiles will give the border policemen quick and flexible access in diverse environments and conditions of ground. Thus, their use will contribute to a better mobility and the enhancement of the operational capacities of the staff, including to the enhancement of the security of the state border and efficient management of the flow of migrants,’’ the Border Police said.    

The new vehicles were purchased within the project, Supporting Protection, Transit, Voluntary and Informed Return and Reintegration of Eastern Partnership Citizens and Third Country Nationals Affected by the Conflict in Ukraine. The project is financed by the European Union and is implemented by the International Organization for Migration Moldova.
