Moldovan president has new round of consultations on referendum concerning Moldova's accession to EU

Chisinau, 6 February /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu and representatives of more youth organizations of Moldova today discussed the subject on the organization of the referendum on the country’s accession to the European Union, the presidential press service has reported.    

The interlocutors referred to how important is for the young people to  understand the electoral processes and participate in them.   

The Moldovan president stressed that the young generation should be informed and should know the advantages of the European integration process and the decision on the country’s accession to EU must belong to all citizens.   

The series of consultations will continue in the next weeks, when meetings with people from different sectors, business environment, with local communities, representatives of political parties, non-governmental organizations and mass media institutions are planned.
