Moldovan government appoints new state secretary of foreign ministry

Chisinau, Feb. 7 /MOLDPRES/- Government appointed Sergiu Mihov as State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi submitted the proposal. "Sergiu Mihov is a career diplomat, currently he is head of the bilateral relations department within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was ambassador to Lithuania. He has vast experience and impeccable professional integrity", Popșoi said.

Sergiu Mihov was appointed to the position after yesterday Stela Leucă announced resignation. Government approved her resignation request.
