Moldovan State Fiscal Service monitor dozens of tax payers from HoReCa sector, trade with flowers

Chisinau, 20 February /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 63 restaurants and coffee houses, as well as 59 traders with flowers from the Chisinau and Balti cities on 14 February were monitored by the State Fiscal Service, in the context of the increase in the demand of  providing services in the concerned sector.    

As a result, collections of money worth 5.3 million lei (about 265,000 euros) were registered in the HoReCa sector and of about 2.6 million lei in the field of trade with flowers.

The monitoring took place on the entire period of the subdivisions’ work, till the end of their schedule. The SFS employees selectively verified the bills, in contraposition with the fiscal vouchers issued. At the same time, employees were asked to give explanations.    

The actions did not have the goal of sanctioning the tax payers, but also to monitor their work, in order to observe the issuance of fiscal vouchers at cash discounts.
