Group of children with several MPs attend flashmob

Chisinau, March 1 /MOLDPRES/- A group of children and their parents, beneficiaries of Public Association Children of the Rain jointly with MPs took part in a flashmob in the Parliament square this morning.

The event was organised in the context of Rare Disease Day, the tenth anniversary of the founding of the Children of the Rain Association and coming spring.

On this occasion, the children received as a gift from the MPs small spring symbols made by Phoenix Centre children.

According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, the flashmob aimed to increase society's awareness of the challenges faced by people diagnosed with rare diseases.

Data of the Ministry of Health shows that over 2,500 patients with rare diseases are recorded at medical institutions in the country.
