DOC Chisinau International Airport included in list of assets that cannot be privatized

Chisinau, May 24 /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau International Airport has been included in the list of assets that cannot be privatized. The law providing for this and the decree of the head of state on its promulgation were published in the Official Journal today.

It has been included in the list of assets that cannot be privatized, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on the mechanism for examining investments of importance for state security.

The law also stipulates that the Public Property Agency, in its capacity as founder, will be able to resolve difficulties arising in the process of conducting tenders for the selection of commercial premises for catering and trade purposes for the sterile area within the premises of the Chisinau International Airport.

The document also sees provisions to ensure the application of international restrictive measures. 

The Law entered into force today with the publication in the Official Journal of the Republic of Moldova. The responsible public authorities and institutions will issue the necessary acts to implement the law and will bring their normative acts in line with it within one month from the date of entry into force of the new law.
