Moldovan PM conveys congratulatory message to Indian premier on victory in elections

Chisinau, 5 June /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Dorin Recean and his Indian counterpart have made an exchange of congratulatory messages, in the context of the recent victory of the Indian PM in elections.

„On behalf of Moldova’s government, I express the best wishes for the success and continuous prosperity for the Indian people. We are looking forward to consolidating the relations between these two democracies of ours,’’ Prime Minister Dorin Recean said.

For his part, the Indian official said that ‘’we commit to advance the close friendship relations between India and Moldova, which are based on the common values of freedom and democracy,’’ Prime minister of India Narendra Modi wrote.

Following the recent general elections in India, in which a record number of 642 million people participated, the alliance led by the formation of Indian PM Narendra Modi got a parliamentary majority, according to the figures communicated by the Electoral Commission.
