Chisinau, 21 June /MOLDPRES/- Starting July 1, citizens will be able to participate in tours organized in the Government building of the Republic of Moldova. They will be scheduled on Thursdays. The visitors will be able to see the meeting hall, the Media Center and the institution's museum.

Government spokesman Daniel Voda explained that the decision to organize the excursions was taken after receiving several requests from citizens.

"We decided to open the government doors and we will organize excursions. Starting July, guided tours will be conducted in the Government House every Thursday from 9 am to 4 pm. Visitors will have access to the meeting room, the Media Center and will also be able to see the protocol gifts in the Executive Museum on the 1st floor. Tour participants will also have the opportunity to talk to members of the Cabinet of Ministers. Children will take part in a 'treasure hunt' and will receive a gift," said Daniel Voda.

Citizens can apply for a trip to Government House by filling in a registration form. They will then be contacted and informed about the day and time of the excursion. Visiting groups will consist of between 3 and 35 people, with a minimum age of 7 years, and minors must be accompanied by an adult. The regulations for the tours can be found on the website gov.md under the heading Decision-making transparency.

"The intention is clear: we open the doors wide and invite you to see where decisions are made that affect the lives of all citizens of the country. The program will be available from July 1 and we look forward to welcoming children, young people, adults who would like to see how the work is done here in the Government," said Daniel Voda.

The Executive building is located in the center of the capital.
