Admission to universities starts in Moldova

Chisinau, 22 July /MOLDPRES/ - The education institutions of Moldova today started the process of admission. The files can be submitted, for the first time ever, online, to the website www.eadmitere.gov.md. The candidates can study at one of those 16 higher education institutions of Moldova, which provide over 200 specialties and syllabi.    

The acts for degree studies can be submitted in two shifts: 22-31 July (basic session) and 10-14 August (additional session). The people who want to make master studies or train for doctor’s degree will submit the files physically.  

The intermediary results will be announced on 2 August and, respectively, 16 August. Subsequently, the candidates admitted to the education institutions, at one or more specialties, will make the choice and will submit the files as an original to the university where they want to study. The posting of the final results will be made on 9 August (basic session) and on 20 August (additional session).       

At the 2024 year admission, the universities of Moldova will propose 8,697 budgetary places in all, for degree education, master and residency.     

At the stage of submitting the files, the candidates will be able to select three universities at the most and by three specialties at each institution at the most. 

The authorities estimate that about 15,000 students will be admitted to the degree education. They will be able to compete for 8,697 places with budgetary financing. About 25 per cent of the places will belong to the sector of education sciences and social assistance.

There are 16 higher education institutions in Moldova, with over 200 specialties and syllabi, where about 56,000 students study.
