Ungheni perinatal center modernized

Chisinau, Aug. 6 /MOLDPRES/- Ungheni perinatal center has been modernized with the support of UNFPA and the UK. It was provided with new equipment and furniture worth about 4 million lei.
Health Minister Ala Nemerenco was also present at the center's inauguration event. She mentioned that the Ungheni hospital must once again become one of the best medical institutions in the territory and the Ministry is making efforts to modernize the institution.
In 2023, 579 births were registered at Ungheni perinatal center.
