Audiovisual Council approved editorial policy statements of radio, TV stations for covering presidential elections, referendum

Chisinau, Aug. 17 /MOLDPRES/- Thirty radio and television stations will cover the presidential elections and the referendum on October 20, 2024. Members of the Audiovisual Council unanimously approved the statements of media service providers on the editorial policy for the polls.

Out of the 18 TV channels that will participate in the coverage of the presidential elections and referendum, 12 are national and 7 are regional. At the same time, no local channel has committed to cover the elections.

The TV channels that will cover the presidential elections and the referendum on October 20 are: Moldova 1; TV-Gagauzia; ATV; AXIAL TV; Canal Regional; Cinema 1; Exclusiv TV; Jurnal TV; Media TV; N4; PRO TV Chisinau; SOR-TV; Studio-L; TV Elita; Drochia TV; TV8; TVC 21; TVR Moldova.

Only two national radio stations will cover the campaign - Radio Moldova and Radio Plai, four are regional and six - local: Radio Moldova; GRT FM; Aquarelle FM; Bugeac FM; Drochia FM; Jurnal FM; Radio 7/ Радио 7; Radio Chisinau; Radio Media, RadioPlai; Radio Poli Disc - Новое радио; Radio Soroca.

According to the Election Code, the statements approved by the CA will be published on the official website of CA, as well as on the official websites of media service providers.
