Moldovan diaspora visit foreign ministry

Chisinau, Aug 17 /MOLDPRES/- Moldovans living abroad, who have returned to Moldova to participate in the events dedicated to diaspora had a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi.

During the public diplomacy event associated with the Diaspora Days 2024, the ministry leadership presented the current foreign policy priorities and actions to professionalize diplomatic staff, as well as efforts to improve consular services offered to citizens.

The Deputy Prime Minister invited the Moldovan diaspora to contribute, together with the authorities and citizens to building a better future for the Republic of Moldova. The discussions included a round of questions, during which participants received answers directly from ministry diplomats. The interaction was appreciated by those present, who welcomed the openness and transparency of the institution.

The Deputy Prime Minister's meeting with representatives of the diaspora took place during the Open Doors Day at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
