Chisinau, 24 August /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean today came up with a message on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day, in which he gave assurances that Moldova was and would always be with the neighbour country.
In his message, the PM said that ‘’day after day, the Ukrainians have to defend themselves, choosing the courage and steadfastness as lifestyle.’’
„This is the reality of those who fight on front. Of those who save lives in complicated conditions, provide support for food, medication and other essential goods, as well as of the mothers who protect their children from fights, bombardments and attacks with missiles. On Ukraine’s Independence Day, we celebrate the unity, courage and resistance of the Ukrainian people,’’ Recean said.
The prime minister noted that Moldova was and would always be with Ukraine – for freedom and a future in which each child is brought up in a world of peace, not of fear.
„Our solidarity is manifested also through concrete deeds: we facilitate the integration, identity dwellings, jobs and provide financial support for the Ukrainians who took refuge in Moldova. Presently, 1498 citizens of Ukraine found a job here and many others benefit from courses of professional training and certifying of knowledge. Moldova’s support for Ukraine stays firm. Slava Ukraini (Glory to Ukraine),’’ the PM added.
