Intense traffic recorded at two Moldovan-Romanian border crossing points, technical works at Stanca-Costesti dam

Chisinau, 26 August /MOLDPRES/ - The Border Police announce that the flow of passengers and transport means grew in the direction of exit from Moldova to Romania at the border checkpoints (PTF) Sculeni and Leuseni-Albita today morning.

According to the quoted source, the Moldovan and Romanian border and customs authorities enforced a string of measures to ease the traffic, by additionally opening control lanes, increasing the number of employees and enforcing the reverse.

At the same time, the authorities reiterate that technical works are planned at the Stanca-Costesti dam today during 09:00-15:00; thus, there is possibility of longer waiting time at PTF Costesti.

The competent authorities recommend that the passengers opt for other crossing points at the border with Romania.
