Criuleni district hospital of Moldova has ne subdivision

Chisinau, 6 September /MOLDPRES/ - The Criuleni District Hospital has a new subdivision of centralized sterilization. The equipment worth 400,000 euros was purchased with the support a company from Switzerland.   

The new subdivision is endowed with modern equipment for cleaning and ultrasound, washing machines, instruments, equipment for packing, sterilizer and wardrobes for the carriage and stocking of sterile instruments. Also, an additional water-purifying station as set, in order to ensure the long-lasting work of the equipment.    

The subdivision will provide all sections of the medical institution with sterile instruments and materials: surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, anaesthesia and intensive therapy, hospitalization and consultative section as well as the operating room.  

The department is planned, placed and built, in order to reduce the risk of transmission of the infections related to the process of treatment, thus contributing to the improvement of the quality of the medical services.
