Moldovan government unveils details on PM's visit to New York

Chisinau, 26 September /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean on 27 September will pay a visit to the United States, to New York. The PM will lead Moldova’s delegation at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, due on 24-30 September 2024.

According to the government’s communication department, the prime minister will give a speech in the plenum of the UN General Assembly, stressing Moldova’s contribution to the global problems, as well as the regional security, climate changes and will speak out for the strengthening of the international cooperation within UN. The speech will be able to be watched live on the Moldovan government’s Facebook page at about 18:00 (Moldova’s time).

The PM’s agenda will comprise also high-level meetings with his counterparts and the UN leadership and in the end of his visit he will meet the Moldova Diaspora from the USA.

The UN General Assembly represents the most important forum, with the subject, Unity in diversity, for the advancement of peace, sustainable development and human dignity for everyone everywhere.
