"Today, 45 grant recipients worth more than 12 million lei have been nominated. Every leu invested in the creation and development of a business is a direct investment in the future of this country. A business that grows here at home becomes a pillar of local development - creating jobs, offering competitive salaries and contributing to the well-being of the community. At the same time, by investing in entrepreneurs, we are investing in our European path, as it is business people who turn innovative ideas into reality. We have removed bureaucratic obstacles, provided access to finance, digitized many public services for entrepreneurs, opened new markets. Over 75 percent of entrepreneurs support Moldova's European path and we are committed to continue to support you. Congratulations for your achievements so far and for your valuable contribution to the European path of the Republic of Moldova", Deputy Prime Minister Dumitru Alaiba said.

For his part, Adam Grodzicki, Deputy Head of the Cooperation Section at the EU Delegation to Moldova emphasized that support for entrepreneurship and sustainable development of SMEs is a priority in the EU partnership with the Republic of Moldova. The EU will continue to support SMEs, which are a key driving force for a stronger Moldovan economy. Thanks to the new Economic Growth Plan for the Republic of Moldova, more than 5,000 new businesses, including small family businesses, will be created by 2027 and another 25,000 existing businesses will be supported", said Adam Grodzicki.

According to Vadim Codreanu, Director of the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development, the consistent support from the European Union and the Government of the Republic of Moldova allows our entrepreneurs access to essential financial resources for modernizing processes, adopting innovative technologies and expanding production capacities.
