Israeli citizen declared undesirable in Moldova

Chisinau, July 19. /MOLDPRES/- An Israeli citizen, aged 36, was detained yesterday on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. According to operative information, the foreigner would be part of criminal structures and would have intended "to commit crimes in the IT sector on the territory of our country, scams and money smuggling". The foreigner was declared undesirable for five years in Moldova and handed over to the Border Police to complete the removal procedure from the territory of our country to Israel.
According to the General Police Inspectorate (IGP), the man is under criminal investigation in Israel for committing the crime of banditry and fraud, being a member of a criminal ring.
The Border Police, together with the General Inspectorate for Migration and BPDS "Fulger", provided support to the officers of the Organized Crime Investigation Department and the Analysis Department of the National Investigation Inspectorate in locating and detaining the foreigner.
According to the legislation, the person can be declared undesirable if he has carried out, is carrying out or there are solid indications that he intends to carry out activities likely to endanger national security or public order.
