Chamber of Commerce and Industry to organize events on 105th anniversary of institution's founding

Chisinau, Oct. 3 /MOLDPRES/- The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova (CCI) will organize activities to support business environment and promote the institution's activity in October. They will be held in the context of marking the 105th anniversary of the institution's founding.
The activities are part of the information campaign - We have been developing business together for 105 years, due on October 3-23.
CCI head Sergiu Harea said today that the campaign aims to provide real and operative information to the business environment and citizens about the role and opportunities offered by the CCI in business, being a promoter of the development and support of entrepreneurship, attracting investors as well as facilitating exports of domestic products.
According to Harea, among the actions to be carried out are Moldova presents exhibition organized in Iași and Baia Mare and INDAGRA FOOD international exhibition in Bucharest, in October - November. At the same time, CCI will organize the Moldova-Estonia Business Forum on October 5. Another action aims to hold meetings of the sectoral committees for entrepreneurship in the agriculture, industry and services to ensure a public-private dialogue with public institutions.
As part of the information campaign, on October 20, a large-scale event will be organized at the Palace of the Republic, which will bring together CCI members from all districts of the country, officials of Moldova, representatives of the diplomatic staff, heads of Eurochambres and chamber institutions from Romania and Ukraine. The action will include the vernissage of local producers and a photo gallery that will reflect the institution's history.
The CCI is the largest business association of Moldova, which brings together about 1200 members, large, small and medium enterprises from all branches of the economy and is a member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES).
