Advertising materials to be removed in Moldova till end of day of 3 November

Chisinau, 2 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission today warned the broadcasters and distributors of advertising that they were obliged, till the end of the day of 3 November 2023, to remove all electoral postings and other electoral advertising materials, except for the materials elaborated by the electoral bodies.
According to CEC, the infringement of the provisions represents a contravention. Also, the Commission noted that, under the Electoral Code, ‘’the electoral agitation is allowed only till the day of Friday, ahead of the elections.’’
The general local elections will be held on 5 November this year.
