About 330 thousand households applied for energy compensation during cold season

Chisinau, Nov. 13 /MOLDPRES/- For almost two weeks, 328,580 households applied for energy compensation during the cold season.

According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, out of the total number of applications, 149,676 were filled in with the help of social workers and librarians.

"Citizens are to submit applications by November 25 to benefit from compensation. If you have difficulties registering on compensatii.gov.md platform, call the green line 0 8000 5000 or write to suport@compensatii.gov.md", the institution stated.

Since the launch of the platform, the support team has provided telephone assistance to 12,589 Greenline callers and resolved 3,040 e-mail inquiries.

Also, people who do not have access to the Internet or encounter difficulties in registering on the platform can contact social workers or local librarians. Specialists of the centers for public services in rural areas are ready to offer support to all people in order to access public services in electronic format, including when registering and submitting the online application on compensatii.gov.md platform.

Starting from November 1, citizens can register on compensatii.gov.md platform to benefit from financial support from the state in the 2023-2024 cold season. This year, people will benefit from two types of compensation - in invoice and in monetary form - 800-lei aid for the cold season for households that heat with wood or coal. There will be seven categories of energy vulnerability: primary, extreme, very high, high, medium, low and no vulnerability.
