PM to lead Moldova's delegation at World Economic Forum in Davos

Chisinau, 16 January /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean on 16-17 January will participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos. The PM will have a string of bilateral meetings with heads of governments and states, during which he will promote Moldova’s economic agenda, the government’s communication department has reported.
The prime minister’s agenda in Davos includes meetings with his counterpart from the Netherlands Mark Rutte, PM of Croatia Andrej Plenković, Prime Minister of Bulgaria Nikolai Denkov, Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto and Prime Minister of Liechtenstein Daniel Risch. Also, the Moldovan PM will discuss with President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda, President of Poland Andrzej Duda and His Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco.
The Forum’s platform will give possibility to tackle the implementation of joint initiatives with the president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Odile Renaud-Basso, as well as with business people and representatives of prestigious international companies. At the same time, the prime minister will give speeches at topic-related sessions organized on the sidelines of the Forum.
The works of the World Economic Forum in Davos are held on 15-19 January and the Moldovan delegation is also made up of Economic Development and Digitalization Minister Dumitru Alaiba and the state secretary of the Energy Ministry, Carolina Novac.
