MAI inaugurated space dedicated to children of National Public Security Inspectorate employees

Chisinau, 19 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- On Thursday, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI) inaugurated a space dedicated to the children of the National Public Security Inspectorate (INSP) employees. The space is the first of its kind within the MAI structures.
By inaugurating this special space, MAI is committed to providing support for parents, making it easier for them to bring their children to a safe environment while they do their work.
Attending the event, MAI State Secretary Daniella Misail-Nichitin said that the authorities are determined to create more employee-friendly workplaces. "It is an absolutely necessary solution to ensure balance between professional activity and family life," said Daniella Misail-Nichitin.
Ambassador of Sweden to Chisinau Katarina Fried expressed appreciation for the MAI's initiatives in promoting a healthy balance between professional and family life. "Efforts to support gender equality are a priority for Sweden, both nationally and in our bilateral and multilateral relations," said the official.
UN Women Moldova Country Representative Dominika Stojanoska appreciated the efforts made by MAI in ensuring a friendly work environment for all employees, and noted the importance of gender equality and the support given to families.
The event also included a guided tour of the newly renovated space, including women's changing rooms and a dedicated children's area.
