Europe discovers Moldovan products at GreenWeek-2024 exhibition in Berlin

Chisinau, 19 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan products were appreciated today at GreenWeek-2024 exhibition, held in Berlin by a delegation of high officials consisting of Minister of Agriculture of Germany Cem Özdemir, Berlin mayor Kai Wegner, EU Commissioner for Agriculture Janusz Wojciechowski, president of the Association of German farmers Joachim Rukwoed etc.
Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Bolea presented the guests with a set of Wild organic wines, produced from Feteasca Neagra grapes from Cricova vineyards, where German Minister Cem Özdemir helped to harvest in October 2023, when the Agri-Food Partnership Platform took place.
"Due to the support of the German Government, a new Moldovan-German technical assistance project is underway in our country, regarding the Dialogue on Agricultural Policies, in which a team of international experts supports MAIA, AIPA and ANSA in adjsuting policies and administrative systems in agriculture, rural development and food safety to EU requirements. It is a huge help for us, because we need the experience of the best in order to succeed in being at the level of European standards," said Bolea.
For his part, Cem Özdemir said that the place of the Republic of Moldova is in the big EU family, and Germany will provide all the support for this to happen as soon as possible.
GreenWeek is a European event with a history of over 100 years. In 2024, Moldova for the first time has an exhibition platform of 100 m2, where nine local producers present their products.
