USMF "Nicolae Testemițanu" - leader among universities of Moldova in international ranking MosIUR 2023

Chisinau, Feb. 5 /MOLDPRES/- Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Moldova remains on the 901-1000th place in the international ranking The Three University Missions (MosIUR) 2023, 7th edition.

USMF "Nicolae Testemițanu" is the leader among three higher education institutions of Moldova in this rating.

University rector Emil Ceban believes that maintaining the ranking is the result of the joint effort of the entire university team. "We appreciate the contribution of each member of "Nicolae Testemițanu" USMF family for increasing the visibility of Alma Mater at the national and international level", Ceban said.

In the current edition of the MosIUR ranking, the number of universities has increased from 1,800 to 2,000, compared to last year. The ranking evaluates, based on 16 indicators, education quality (45%), scientific activity (25%) and universities' contribution to society (30%). Top 2,000 universities of 112 countries have been selected from a list of over 2,300 higher education institutions from 165 countries.
