Moldovan diplomacy head has more meetings at Romania's Senate

Chisinau, 6 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister Mihai Popsoi today had a meeting with President of the Romanian Senate Nicolae-Ionel Ciuca, the Foreign Affairs Ministry’s (MAE) prepress service has reported.
The Moldovan official thanked President of the Senate Ciuca for the constant approaches at the parliamentary level in the dialogue with the institutions from Brussels and other European capitals for the promotion of the opening of Moldova’s negotiations with the European Union.
The president of the Senate welcomed the efforts made by Moldova in the implementation of the reforms and assured the country of the unconditional support in maintaining the bilateral strategic relations.
At the same time, Minister Popsoi referred to the security situation, in the context of Russia’s aggression war against Ukraine, as well as its consequences on Moldova and the region on the whole.
Also today, the Moldovan diplomacy head had a meeting with the president of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Titus Corlatean. The officials exchanged opinions on the rapprochement with EU, the defence, security policies and the foreign relations.
